AYA NEO NEXT: Indiegogo campaign starts, orders to ship in mid-April

AYA NEO has brought the AYA NEO NEXT to Indiegogo, the company's second global crowdfunding campaign. As we have discussed previously, the AYA NEO NEXT features the Ryzen 7 5825U, an AMD Barcelo APU. Essentially a slightly improved Ryzen 7 5800U, the Ryzen 7 5825U relies on Zen 3 cores and an RX Vega 8 iGPU. In comparison, the Ryzen 7 6800U has newer Zen 3+ cores and a Radeon 680M iGPU based on AMD's RDNA 2 architecture.

Currently, AYA NEO has grossed over US$200,000 in backing through Indiegogo for the AYA NEO NEXT. While AYA NEO has already reached its funding target, the campaign will run until April 11, 2022. Previously, the company hoped to begin shipping AYA NEO NEXT orders in March. For reference, AYA NEO explains that it will start shipping Indiegogo orders 'by mid-April'.

As it stands, AYA NEO is offering three AYA NEO NEXT models through Indiegogo, fewer than on its website. The prices of each model are as follows:

• AYA NEO NEXT: 16 GB of RAM/1 TB SSD - US$1,335
• AYA NEO NEXT: 16 GB of RAM/2 TB SSD - US$1,385
• AYA NEO NEXT Pro: 32 GB of RAM/2 TB SSD - US$1,535

According to AYA NEO's campaign page, all Indiegogo orders will ship with a carry case and a screen protector. Please note that while AYA NEO has factored international express freight shipping costs into its prices, none include custom duties and taxes.
