The AYA NEO 2021 PRO is now purchasable, but from over US$1,200
The AYA NEO 2021 PRO is now orderable, and not through Indiegogo. Instead, AYA is offering the machine through its website, which is backed by Shopify and PayPal. The company announced the NEO 2021 PRO earlier this week, which you can read more about in our corresponding article.
In short, the AYA NEO 2021 PRO has a Ryzen 7 4800U APU, a 7-inch display, 16 GB of RAM and a 47 Wh battery. The device also has a multitude of gamepad buttons, along with dual USB Type-C ports and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The AYA NEO 2021 PRO is available in black and white, which AYA calls Dark Star and Light Moon respectively. Both colour options are available with a 1 TB SSD and cost US$1,215. However, there is also a Retro Power edition, a version inspired by retro handheld gaming devices. AYA charges US$1,315 for its Retro Power edition, which also comes with a docking station.
AYA states that orders placed in August will ship in 'mid to late September'. Please note that these prices do not include customs and duties, so you could end up paying significantly more than AYA's quoted prices depending on where you live.
