AOC has updated its OLED monitor lineup again, shortly after presenting the Agon Pro AG276QKD2 with a 500 Hz and 27-inch QD-OLED panel sourced from Samsung Display. This time, the company has released the Q27G4KD in China with what appears to be the same underlying panel technology as the Agon Pro AG276QKD2 and other competing monitors like the Samsung Odyssey G60SF (curr. $999.99 on Amazon).
Consequently, AOC remarks that the Q27G4KD outputs at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (QHD), hence the Q at the start of its model number. The company adds that the 27-inch QD-OLED panel also delivers 300 nits typical SDR brightness across its entire panel, as well as 515 nits (APL 10%) and 1,000 nits (APL 3%) when viewing HDR content. On top of that, the QD-OLED panel boasts 0.03 ms GtG response times with 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and Delta E <2 factory colour calibration.
Moreover, the Q27G4KD delivers a 500 Hz refresh rate across its HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 ports. According to AOC, the monitor also ships with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub, a 3.5 mm jack and an adjustable stand. Currently, the Q27G4KD retails for CNY 4,999 (~$697) in China. AOC has not disclosed whether the monitor will be available globally. Typically, the company brings its gaming monitors to global audiences at some stage, though.
