LG has introduced another 34-inch gaming monitor built around the Gen 2 WOLED panel it showcased last year with the UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE. For context, the same was true earlier this year when the company released the UltraGear OLED 34GX90SA running webOS 24.
This time, LG has unveiled the UltraGear OLED 34GX900A with a familiar look for those who have owned or seen an UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE. Finished in dark grey with purple lighting on its rear, the UltraGear OLED 34GX900A outputs natively at 1440p with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 0.03 ms GtG response times and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Also, the 275-nit gaming monitor contains the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 2x USB 3.0 Type-A
- 1x USB Type-C (Power Delivery/DisplayPort Alt Mode)
In other words, the UltraGear OLED 34GX900A adds a USB Type-C port over the UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE while losing its USB Type-B port. Moreover, although LG has included the stereo 7 W speakers from the UltraGear OLED 34GX90SA, the UltraGear OLED 34GX900A lacks its Gigabit Ethernet connection.
Currently, the UltraGear OLED 34GX900A can be picked up in the US and Hong Kong for $1,299 and HK$8,280 (~$1,055). At the time of writing, Amazon is already selling LG's latest 34-inch WOLED gaming monitor too. Please see LG's product listing for more hardware details.
