Rogbid’s latest smartwatch, the Apex TS, is another attempt to push GPS-equipped smartwatches into more affordable territory. It comes with basic outdoor navigation tools, health tracking, and a few modern extras without spending much more than the cost of a basic tracker. Priced at $59.99, its price point is well below most GPS-capable watches, but still comes with a spec sheet that looks to be a step up from entry-level gear.
The watch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display that should be readable in bright light. It is framed by a simple case with three physical buttons. One handles power, another turns on a built-in LED flashlight, and a third jumps straight into GPS mode. The layout should be functional enough, especially for outdoor use.
Alongside standard smartwatch features, Rogbid has added AI-powered tools, including an on-device GPT assistant for quick answers and a system for generating custom watch faces. Bluetooth calling is supported through the built-in speaker and microphone.
Navigation is one of the Apex TS’s stronger selling points. It supports dual-band, six-satellite GPS, plus route imports, a compass, and a barometric altimeter. Health tracking covers heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep, and the watch offers more than 120 sports modes. A 550mAh battery powers the device, with Rogbid quoting up to 45 days of standby time - though typical mixed use will likely be shorter.
The Apex TS is available now in black, blue, and red through the official Rogbid store. At its price, it definitely won’t replace high-end multisport watches, but it still offers a decent balance of features for users who want reliable GPS and long battery life at a low cost.
