Over the last few months, 8BitDo has brought forth numerous Ultimate 2 refreshes. For instance, the company introduced the Ultimate 2 Honkai: Star Rail - Evernight edition earlier this month. Now, 8BitDo has turned to the Pro 3, which debuted this summer as a highly customisable wireless controller with Nintendo Switch 2 compatibility from the outset.
To recap, the Pro 3 initially arrived in Grey and Purple colours, as well as the more beige 'G Classic'. As expected, 8BitDo has decided to jazz up the Pro 3 with Orange, which carries over the grey buttons from the Purple edition. Likewise, the Orange version of the Pro 3 also features a green A button and a red B button.
Moreover, 8BitDo includes the same orange ball-top joystick caps and unlabeled ABXY buttons as the Purple edition, too. Conversely, the Orange edition ships with colour-matching dock and 2.4 GHz USB accessories in the box. Functionally, the new Pro 3 is identical to the other versions that 8bitDo already sells. Currently, 8BitDo is offering the Pro 3 in Orange directly for $69.99. Alternatively, one can pick up the same controller on Amazon for $62.99 when applying a 10% launch coupon that expires on October 20.
