A promotional banner at the Zurich Pop Con 2025 on September 27 was featured at a Nintendo Switch 2 booth, showcasing five beloved Lego titles under official Switch 2 branding. This reveal has stirred rumors of upgraded versions for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The five games featured at the booth included Lego City Undercover from 2017, the first Lego title to arrive on the original Switch, Lego DC Super-Villains from 2018, Lego Harry Potter Collection from 2019, Lego Jurassic World from 2019, and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga from 2022.
None of these titles has officially been confirmed for the Switch 2 so far, but the banner’s appearance at the annual Swiss convention, at an official Nintendo Switch 2 booth, indicates that an announcement could be on the horizon. Furthermore, social media users have reported hints of a sixth title, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, in addition to the previously mentioned Lego games.
Plenty of fans should be excited about a potential Lego City Undercover upgrade for the Switch 2, as the game suffered from performance issues on the original Switch, especially when playing co-op mode.
It’s expected that these titles will release with improved render resolution, higher frame rates, sharper textures, and other technical upgrades using the Switch 2’s more powerful hardware. Nintendo has taken the route of paid upgrades for a majority of its first-party offerings, but third-party games like Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, and Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, just to name a few.
But it remains unclear if Warner Bros. Games will offer any free upgrades for its Lego titles, considering Hogwarts Legacy featured a paid upgrade pack for the Switch 2. Mortal Kombat 1 received a separate Definitive Edition release for the Nintendo Switch 2 instead of an upgrade pack.
This rumor arrives hot on the heels of Lego Voyagers' release for the Switch 2, which arrived on September 15, 2025. Unlike the previously mentioned games developed by TT, Lego Voyagers has been developed by Light Brick Studios.
With gamers speculating, it doesn’t seem out of the question that Nintendo will port over enhanced editions of previously released Lego titles to bolster the Switch 2’s library.
