Science fiction fans will be delighted to learn that LEGO has just teased a new set inspired by Star Trek. But it will be necessary to wait for further information, notably regarding the number of pieces and the price.

LEGO continues to promote various licenses through its constructions. And yesterday, the Danish company unveiled a short video announcing a new set directly inspired by the Star Trek franchise.

Over the years, LEGO has had the opportunity to collaborate with numerous licenses, meeting the expectations of fans. And you can find sets inspired by that cult film from your childhood, or even this one based on this 1971 film that has left its mark on millions of people. But it’s the first time that Star Trek collaborates with LEGO.

It was through a short video that this announcement was made. And it seems that this set will be inspired by The Next Generation, which was released at the end of the 1980s. In addition, the famous Captain Picard will be present in the form of a mini figurine. But, if these are the only information available, we can expect the representation of the Enterprise-D and the entire crew, such as William Riker or Edward Jellico.

Thus, this is great news for Star Trek fans, who will be able to build a set while reviving many memories. But be careful, because its sale price is not yet known, and, like the Death Star from Star Wars, it could be very high. In the meantime, other announcements have been made by LEGO, such as this collaboration with Pokémon, which will delight all fans of this license.
