MagicX has now begun selling the Zero 40 in a new colour option. Teased last week, the Emerald Green variant of the Zero 40 joins the Black and White versions of the same device that have been available for around three months. While the latter two have opaque, Emerald Green is the first time that MagicX has offered the Zero 40 in a translucent finish.
To recap, the Zero 40 centres around a 4-inch IPS display that outputs at 480 x 800 pixels in a vertical orientation. As a result, the device can emulate both of the Nintendo DS' displays stacked on top of each other. Alternatively, the Zero 40 is ideal for those wanting to emulate TATE games like the classic 1942.
With that being said, the Emerald Green model features a 4,300 mAh battery and the same Allwinner A133P chipset with 2 GB of DDR4 RAM, just like the Mini Zero 28 (curr. $69.99 on Amazon) before it. The Emerald Green version of the Zero 40 is available to order with 64 GB or 128 GB microSD cards for $71 and $79, respectively. Please see MagicX's website for more details.
