Thunderobot has teased the Zero Air 16 on Weibo, a 16-inch gaming laptop weighing 1.64 kg that pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070. The company plans to show the Zero Air 16 publicly at Bilibili World 2026, with a full launch expected in August.

Thunderobot has started teasing the Zero Air 16 on Weibo ahead of the Bilibili World 2026 event in Shanghai from July 10-12. The original Zero Air topped out at 15-inches, but this version bumps the screen size up to-16 inches, all while allegedly being one of the lightest gaming laptops in its class.

The teaser states the Zero Air 16 weighs just 1.64 kg, that’s about 60g heavier than the 15-inch Zero Air we covered in January, and that’s despite the larger chassis required for the bigger display.

The Zero Air 16 is slightly lighter than the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 (2026), another 16-inch gaming laptop that weighs around 1.96kg (4.30 lbs). That being said, the Zephyrus G16 can be configured with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080, one notch above the RTX 5070 in the Zero Air 16.

The teaser image reveals the Zero Air 16 with an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H, a 16-core Panther Lake chip, and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 with 8GB of GDDR7 memory. That’s a downgrade from the 15-inch Zero Air’s Core Ultra 9 386H, which already used the cut-down 4 Xe3-core iGPU instead of Intel’s flagship Arc B390. It comes with 32GB LPDDR5 memory and 1TB of storage.

The company also credits a carbon fiber chassis for keeping the weight down. Thunderobot has not confirmed the RTX 5070's power limit, its cooling configuration, or display specifications, all of which will determine whether the Zero Air 16 behaves as a genuine gaming machine or a thin-and-light with gaming credentials bolted on. The company plans to show the Zero Air 16 publicly at Bilibili World 2026, with a full launch expected in August. Pricing has not been announced, and there is no word yet on availability outside China.
