Samsung has only just released the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 (curr. $1,999 on Amazon) globally. Nonetheless, sources have now turned to revealing details about future models ahead of time. In fact, a new sighting relates to a device further out than autumn's Galaxy Z Trifold.
Apparently, snippets relating to the Galaxy S26 Ultra already exist in recent One UI beta builds. For context, the same builds appear to show a significant charging speed upgrade for next year's Galaxy S Ultra model, full details of which we have provided separately. Moreover, it seems that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be joined next year by the Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Plus too.
Now, SamMobile has discovered that these builds also list the code 'PMK8850' in relation to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. On the face of it, this snippet reveals next to nothing. However, 8850 is the rumoured part number for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850). At this stage, it remains to be seen whether this is a TSMC or Samsung Foundry-produced chipset though, which are expected to utilise N3P and SF2 nodes, respectively. Regardless, the Galaxy S26 Ultra should be joined by two other Galaxy S26 series models during a January 2026 Galaxy Unpacked launch event.
