iPad Mini 6: Leak debunks claims of a mini-LED display on Apple's imminent tablet
Apple is geared to release a slew of devices at its planned September 14 event. One of them will be the iPad Mini 6, the next iteration in Apple's lineup of smaller tablets. A new leak has now surfaced about the iPad Mini 5's successor, and fans may not be thrilled.
According to information coming from China, the iPad Mini 6 will sport an LCD. Over the past few months, reports have see-sawed between the iPad Mini 6 featuring an LCD, or a mini-LED like on the iPad Pro. Tipster Bored Panda thinks otherwise, however, and has listed an LCD for the iPad Mini 6.
The source reiterates some more details about the iPad Mini 6: Touch ID on one side, an 8.4-inch display, symmetrical speakers, a 60 Hz refresh rate, a Type-C port, 206 mm x 138 mm x 6.1 mm dimensions, a single rear camera, and a second-gen Apple Pencil. The iPad Mini 6 will launch alongside the iPhone 13 series, the iPad Pro, and the Apple Watch Series 7 next week.
