Xiaomi rubbishes MIUI 13 rumoured release date

Xiaomi will not be revealing MIUI 13 in June, a representative from the company has claimed. While the company has not denied the volume of devices that will supposedly be eligible for MIUI 13, it asserts that the OSes rumoured launch date is a fabrication.

According to reports, Xiaomi is not planning to reveal MIUI 13 next month. Apparently, Xiaomi's head of public relations has decried the idea that MIUI 13 is on the horizon, cited by MyDrivers and Adimorah Blog, among others. Unfortunately, no one has provided sources for this claim.

We have been unable to find the original post, but below is a screenshot to which MyDrivers and Adimorah Blog refer, courtesy of ZEALER-X. Naturally, Xiaomi has not ruled out that it will release MIUI 13 eventually, but the rumoured June date is incorrect.

In saying that, Xiaomi has not denied the list of eligible devices that Xiaomi & MIUI News compiled. It is worth considering that it based this list on Xiaomi's update policy, so it should still be reasonably accurate. Nonetheless, it seems that we may still be a few months away from MIUI 13 making its debut.
