MIUI 13 set to reach upwards of 89 Xiaomi, POCO, Black Shark and Redmi smartphones later this year ^↺

Last week, details about MIUI 13 emerged, supposedly the successor to MIUI 12 and MIUI 12.5. Apparently, Xiaomi plans to launch MIUI 13 on June 25, probably before it kicks off its MIUI 12.5 release schedule for many devices. If that launch date is correct, then we would expect Xiaomi to take a while to begin distributing MIUI 13.

Regardless, Xiaomi & MIUI News believes that more devices will receive MIUI 13 than last week's report let on. According to the Telegram channel-cum-Twitter account, Xiaomi's Update Policy includes the Mi 9 series that last week's report excluded. In saying that, Xiaomi & MIUI News believes that Xiaomi has dropped the Mi 8 series and every Mi Mix device before this year's Mi Mix Fold. Likewise, the Pocophone F1 has reached the end of the road as far as MIUI updates go.

Additionally, the Redmi Note 7 series is reportedly out of contention for Xiaomi's next OS. It is unclear what features Xiaomi will bring to MIUI with its thirteenth version. However, Xiaomi should base the OS on Android 10 through 12, if MIUI 12 is anything to go by. The 89 devices that will allegedly receive MIUI 13 are as follows:
