Reviews for the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold
All in all, the software system function adaptation of Xiaomi Mi MIX FOLD greatly improves user efficiency, enriches the use scenarios of folding screens, brings users a new horizontal screen interactive experience, and solves most applications on Android large-size devices. It can be said that many of the problems brought new thinking and innovative models to the interactive design of the entire Android large-screen devices and folding screen devices, which are worth experiencing.

In addition, the Mi Mix Fold also unveiled the world’s first liquid lens technology, which uses bionic technology to insert a “lens” into a mobile lens to deliver focal length and focus changes similar to the human eye, enabling a single lens to achieve both telepfocus and macro functions simultaneously.

Every new folding phone that launches is good news for those of us who believe that foldables are the future. Competition drives down prices; it spurs innovation; it increases choice. So I’m happy the Mi Mix Fold from Xiaomi exists – even if right now, I can’t think of anyone here in the US I’d actually recommend it to.

Xiaomi unveiled a host of new products this week, but the one that caught our eye was the Mi Mix Fold, Xiaomi's long awaited foldable. Instead of the reverse-folding prototype we got a peek of a few years ago, the Mi Mix Fold looks remarkably like the Galaxy Z Fold 2. It packs in Xiaomi's premium camera tech, with a 108mp main camera, and most notably, a "liquid lens" 8MP camera. Xiaomi is claiming this uses a fluid-filled lens to shift between a telephoto and macro shooter. Impressive if true, though we'll want to test it. The Mi Mix Fold is debuting at 9,999 yuan, around $1,500, a good deal cheaper than the folding options from other companies, though you may have trouble finding one in the USA.
