New MIUI 13 release date rumor settles on specific day with as many as 80 smartphone models potentially eligible for the Xiaomi Android overlay

Back in November we reported on a MIUI 13 rumor based on information given by a super moderator on the Mi Community forum that stated the Android overlay would be “presented” in the second quarter of 2021. This has now been followed up by a seemingly corroborating rumor that MIUI 13 could actually be released on June 25, at least initially for eligible China ROM devices anyway. The information comes from the MIUI 12 Updates Telegram channel (via AdimorahBlog), so take it with a pinch of salt.
Talking about pinches of salt, a separate source has come up with a speculative list of Xiaomi, Redmi, Poco, and Black Shark smartphones that could be eligible for the MIUI 13 update. RPRNA has included no less than 80 models in its supported devices list, with a further 11 smartphones that it deems are less likely to receive MIUI 13:

It’s still too early to be certain of which smartphones will actually receive a MIUI 13 update, and nothing is set in stone until Xiaomi officially releases its own list of eligible devices. So users of models not mentioned in the above tables should keep their fingers crossed if they feel their smartphone of choice should be supported. If the June 25 release date for China is accurate, then owners of Europe, Global, India, Indonesia, and Russia ROM handsets can expect the MIUI 13 update rollout to commence within a couple of months afterwards.
