MIUI 13 main updates leaked along with the supposed Control Center design for Xiaomi's upcoming Android overlay
An image of what could be the redesigned Control Center for Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 skin has been shared online. In this particular shot, the MIUI 13 Control Center appears to be organized into two columns, sharing all the vital details and settings for the particular smartphone it is running on. A block of information, which likely can be customized, seems to show things such as a bank balance, step counter, and digital wellbeing details.
Volume and brightness control are shown as vertical bars and the overall look of the MIUI 13 Control Center gives a simple and clear impression in terms of function and ease of use. At the same time, a leaker on Weibo sometimes known as “Bald Panda” has offered up some of the main updates that MIUI 13 will be bringing with it for users of supported Redmi, POCO, and Xiaomi smartphones. “New play in small window mode” indicates the introduction of floating windows for game apps for starters.
“New desktop icon” is self-explanatory and to be expected with a software update like MIUI 13, and the same source also mentions new animations, fonts, sounds, and touch effects. As well as all those, MIUI 13 users can expect to find a “layered rendering system” and “memory fusion technology”. Apparently, the latter will work in a similar manner to the virtual RAM utility, thus allowing performance improvements by utilizing a portion of the smartphone’s storage.
