Yesterday, Xiaomi launched a number of devices including the Mi Mix 4 and Mi Pad 5 series. While those may have snatched the headlines, the company also announced a software upgrade of sorts, in the form of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition.
Xiaomi MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition looks to be a performance-oriented update on the regular MIUI 12.5. It delivers no new features, per se, but should make phones run better. The listed changelog includes Swift Performance, Focus Algorithm for better resource allocation, Atomized Memory for more efficient RAM usage, Liquid Storage for long-term storage fluidity, and Smart Balance for overall system optimization.
MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition will be released on August 13, and will be sent out to Xiaomi's premium devices first. To be exact, the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10S, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40, Redmi K30S Ultra, and Redmi K30 Pro. The new Mi Mix 4 will offer it out of the box.
