The Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) appeared online a short while ago, with a prominent store on AliExpress listing the streaming device for sale. Seeing as Xiaomi is yet to officially release the streaming stick, some questions over the device's authenticity may have been raised, but hands-on reviews appear to allay those fears.
At the moment, over 500 units of the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) have been sold by the 70-mai Goldway Store on AliExpress, with reviews now coming in as well. A number of those reviews confirm receipt of the streaming stick and even share hands-on images of the device.
As shared, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) matches the images on the listing. The new streaming stick features a more rounded design compared to the first-gen Xiaomi TV Stick 4K. It gets a new remote too—the same one on the Xiaomi TV Box S (2nd Gen) and Box S (3rd Gen). The packaging confirms that the TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) is a certified Google TV device as well—with Google Assistant support—and also features Wi-Fi 6 and a quad-core processor.
The new Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) ships with its remote, a power adapter and cable, and a HDMI extender cable included in the box. It's currently listed at around $45 and can be expected to launch officially in the coming months.
