The TCL Q8C Premium QD MiniLED TV has been released in some European countries. This is identical to the C8K, C89K and C81K TVs, which launched in several markets in June 2025. It is also similar to the QM8K, which arrived in the US earlier this year (curr. from $1,798 at Amazon).
TCL’s Q8C is available in four sizes: 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch and 98-inch. Each has a WHVA CrystGlow Panel with QLED technology, said to offer a native 7,000:1 contrast ratio. These TVs also cover 97% of the DCI-P3 color space and deliver up to 5,000 nits of HDR brightness with up to 3,840 local dimming zones.
The Q8C has a 4K resolution with a native 144Hz refresh rate and Game Accelerator 288Hz. Other gaming features include Game Bar and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and the model also supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ and HLG formats, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode. Thanks to the Google TV interface, you can access a wide range of streaming services, or wirelessly screenshare using Google Cast or Apple AirPlay 2. It supports Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6, offering ports like HDMI 2.1 (eARC), USB 3.0 and Ethernet. There are also integrated Bang & Olufsen speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X.
