Xiaomi just revealed the TV Master Series currently consisting of a 65-inch 120 Hz OLED representative. Scant details were initially offered, although the promo poster that came with the announcement also mentions gaming features and Dolby support. Thanks to an alleged “leak” (Xiaomi marketing) on Weibo, there are now some more detailed specifications available for the 65-inch Xiaomi TV Master.
Apparently, HDMI 2.1 support is on board and Dolby Vision + Dolby Atmos technology is present on the Xiaomi TV Master set. There is a quad-core A73 custom processor for smart duties and the 65-inch OLED supports all HDR formats. There’s even mention of an NFC remote control and an Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM).
On top of all that, the 65-inch Xiaomi TV Master smart television can supposedly manage 4K 120 Hz MEMC, 4K 120 Hz VRR, and 4K 120 Hz signal input. Basically, owners of the Xiaomi smart TV can expect very smooth images when watching fast-moving pictures, and it also offers enticing technologies for gamers – the HDMI 2.1 standard will be ideal for future PS5 and Xbox Series X owners.
As for price, there has already been some speculation about how much this particular Xiaomi TV Master Series unit could cost. One source has suggested 10,000 yuan (US$1,415) while another simply guessed at below 15,999 yuan (US$2,264), which is quite the difference. Considering you can pick up a 98-inch Redmi Smart TV Max for 19,999 yuan (US$2,825), it seems more than likely that the 65-inch set, even with its impressive specs, will be priced closer to the lower figure suggested above. The Xiaomi TV Master Series will be launched on July 2.
