Reviews for the Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro

Redmi Pad Pro is a very good value for money product. It has a decent design with the aluminium build that adds that premium touch to the build quality. It has a pretty good display which is sharp, responsive, and sufficiently accurate at the same time, and the performance is good enough for all kinds of users. So tablets is a space where Android brands are yet to make a significant dent. While still far away from where Apple’s iPads stand in the market, there are quite a few very good Android tablets in the market. Xiaomi is one brand that has brought pretty decent tablets to India. Starting with their first tablet in the market, Xiaomi has consistently offered a very good value for money, leading up till the last device in the market, the Xiaomi Pad 6.

To conclude, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G offers an excellent value-for-money proposition. The sleek design makes it comfortable enough for on-the-go travel. The display looks good for this price segment, and the performance is decent, if not great. The battery life is impressive, though the fast charging support could have been better. As far as the competition is concerned, with the Redmi Pad Pro 5G, you have the Lenovo Tab P12 and Xiaomi Pad 6 (Review), which gives stiff competition to the tablet.

The Redmi Pad Pro is an excellent tablet for its €299 price point. It offers a lovely metal unibody, an excellent 12.1-inch Dolby Vision screen, four Dolby Atmos speakers, and very solid performance. You can even expand the Redmi Pad Pro capabilities by opting for the proprietary Keyboard or Smart Pen, which can add a productivity dimension to what is otherwise a media-consumption device. However, once you start piling on the extra costs for those the differences to more premium offerings diminishes so it's probably wiser to not go there. The same applies to getting the 5G version - sharing your smartphone's data connection makes so much more sense than getting a second plan specifically for a mid-range tablet. Sure, the rear camera is poor, and not having a charger was a bitter welcome, but overall, the Redmi Pad Pro managed to impress us with its performance. And we do recommend putting it on your shortlist if you are on the lookout for a budget tablet.

If you're in the market for a midrange tablet, absolutely. With high versatility, no major shortcomings, and an impressively low price, it's arguably the best midrange Android tablet to date from any manufacturer. The Xiaomi Pad 6, probably its closest competitor, has a smaller screen and shorter battery life, making it considerably less flexible. You'll be hard-pressed to find anything else at this price so capable of producing pristine video and audio, running all but the most demanding apps, lasting as long on a single charge, or encouraging productivity on the go.

Reviewing Xiaomi's Redmi Pad Pro 2024, an Android tablet that boasts premium features like a crisp 120Hz display and quad speaker setup for a price that won't pummel your budget. I've been testing the Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro for a week so here's my verdict on the gaming performance, battery life and beyond. It's a cracker for students, families and anyone who doesn't want to make sacrifices to trim that price.

The Redmi Pad Pro shares a lot of features with the Xiaomi Pad 6, but it is much more accessible. You get a massive 12.1-inch LCD panel with good colors and HDR integration and 120Hz refresh, and it is ideally suited for entertainment. What sets the tablet apart is the 10000mAh battery; it lasts significantly longer than Xiaomi's other budget tablets, and you get 33W charging. Xiaomi is rolling out a decent keyboard case and stylus alongside the Redmi Pad Pro, and that extends its versatility considerably. There's a lot to like on the software front as well, and overall, the Redmi Pad Pro is a terrific budget tablet.

This range of display format is largely the upper limit for tablets and the lower limit for subnotebooks.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small in size and therefore easily portable. The tiny display has the added advantage of requiring little power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is exhausting for the eyes. High resolutions, which one is used to from a standard laptop, are almost not usable.
The same applies to tablets in this size range.
