Xiaomi Poco F9 series gets an official global launch date

Xiaomi's upcoming Poco F9 series has leaked extensively over the past few weeks. Specifications and even pricing details have been reported, and Xiaomi has finally announced a date for the duo's official debut.
As shared on Poco's X account earlier today, the Poco F9 series is scheduled to launch globally on September 1. Or eight days from now, to be exact.
UltraPower Unbound.
No ceiling. No compromise. No weakness.
POCO F9 Series is coming to raise the flagship standard.
As with previous entries in the lineup, the Poco F9 phones are set to arrive as performance-focused premium devices, but likely with a small hit to camera performance compared to Xiaomi's true flagship models. It appears Xiaomi will yet again eschew the release of a vanilla model, with all available information indicating only the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra to slated for launch.
The Poco F9 series will be based on the Redmi K100 phones that launched in China weeks ago. Both phones are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, but will have differences, especially in the camera and battery departments. The days of the Poco F-series offering "flagship killers" are done, however, with the Poco F9 Ultra tipped to cost €999.
