Xiaomi POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro spotted again in new pre-release leaks
Xiaomi has expanded the POCO M series with numerous models this year, most recently with the POCO M6 Pro 4G (curr. $194.50 on Amazon). However, it seems that the company also has the POCO M6 4G and POCO M7 Pro 5G in the pipeline. Additionally, new evidence has emerged that it is on the verge of releasing the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro, too.
To recap, a device believed to be the POCO F6 recently appeared on Geekbench with the model number '24069PC21G', full details of which we have covered separately. Now, Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) has confirmed that Xiaomi actually does intend to sell 24069PC21G as the POCO F6, evidence of which we have embedded below. Ultimately, the NBTC does not provide too many details about the POCO F6.
With that being said, it also reveals that the device supports 5G connectivity, rather than merely linking it to the model number 24069PC21G. Nonetheless, the device's recent Geekbench listing points to the inclusion of a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and 12 GB of RAM, among other features. In other words, the POCO F6 appears to share its hardware with the Redmi Turbo 3, which its shared model number implies, too.
Meanwhile, the POCO F6 Pro has now appeared on Geekbench bearing the model number '23113RKC6G'. Again the NBTC recently certified the POCO F6 Pro with the same model number. Incidentally, the same device has already been seen on the Federal Communication Commission's (FCC) database. As expected, the POCO F6 Pro utilises the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, identifiable from its CPU core structure and its 'ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 1 part 3406 revision 0' identifier. Moreover, the POCO F6 Pro contains 16 GB of RAM and runs Android 14, which all point to the device being a re-branded Redmi K70.
