The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 can now be purchased in the United States courtesy of Amazon US. Interested buyers who would like to test out the popular fitness tracker can currently place an order for it from US$49.98 with free shipping. Depending on the storefront, stock is expected to become available around 26-27 July, with delivery of the Mi Smart Band 5 starting shortly afterwards.

The price of US$49.98 (apparently reduced from US$79.99) for the Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 is a reasonable deal for US customers. In Europe, buyers will have to pay £39.99 or €39.99 for the fitness tracker from the relevant official Xiaomi Mi online store. The Amazon US price is equivalent to about £40 or €44 in a direct exchange rate (not including tax), so there are no concerns for Amazon US shoppers who might feel the Mi Smart Band 5’s price has been inflated too much for the North American market.

The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 SKU available to order on Amazon US is the non-NFC variant, which lucky customers in China can pick up for just 189 yuan (US$27/£22/€24).
