The first 11 smartphones expected to receive the Xiaomi HyperOS Global software update have been leaked. Unsurprisingly, the list features some big hitters, such as the Xiaomi 13, POCO F5, and Redmi 12. HyperOS is Xiaomi’s replacement for MIUI and will come with better animations, focused notifications, and refreshed home screen icons.

A list of 11 Xiaomi smartphones has been shared in a report from Xiaomiui that supposedly comes straight from the Chinese OEM’s own servers. Screenshots of snippets of code have revealed numerous device codenames and regional ROMs connected to HyperOS, which should start rolling out for selected phones with Global, EEA, and India firmware in the first quarter of 2024. These are the 11 phones that will purportedly be the first to receive HyperOS Global:

Numerous other devices have previously been linked with Xiaomi HyperOS Global, including the Xiaomi Pad 6, Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, Xiaomi 12T Pro, Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and the POCO X6 Pro 5G, but the phones listed above are the ones specifically mentioned in this particular leak. It is possible more devices were actually named in the data on the server but have yet to be extracted. For instance, it seems quite likely that the Xiaomi 12T Pro (available on Amazon) will be among the first devices to get this Global update.

From what has appeared in a couple of leaks about HyperOS, it seems that most of the changes that have been made in comparison to MIUI are visual tweaks. Xiaomiui has seemingly also gotten hold of a HyperOS changelog (see image or drop-down list below) that certainly gives the impression that Xiaomi has been focusing on how the Android 14 overlay looks on its new phones. However, the official Chinese-language page for the software reveals just how different HyperOS will be for many users, with network enhancements, improved memory control features, and, of course, AI integration being firmly on board.
