Over the past two weeks, Xiaomi began and ramped up marketing for its newest smartphone lineup, the Xiaomi Civi series. The company has now debuted the Xiaomi Civi at an event in China, with a focus on design, cameras, and youth.
The Xiaomi Civi sports a 6.55-inch FHD AMOLED with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display itself is a 3D curved one, with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. There's a centered hole punch that is Xiaomi's smallest yet, keeping with the theme of innovative design.
Under the hood of the Xiaomi Civi is a Snapdragon 778G, aided by up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Xiaomi promises three years of software support for the phone. Camera-wise, the Civi sports a 64 MP main camera, a 120-degree ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a macro lens. At the front, embedded within the hole punch, is a 32 MP snapper. Beautified selfies look to be another USP of the Civi.
Other specs include a 4500 mah battery, 55 W charging, stereo speakers, 166 g weight, and 6.98 mm thickness. Pre-orders begin right away, while a full release is scheduled for September 30.
