Since the Snapdragon 778G was launched a few months ago, it's made its way to various phones, including the Motorola Edge 20, Samsung Galaxy A52s, and the new Mi 11 Lite 5G NE. All those phones are mid-range offerings but it appears Xiaomi is set to offer the Snapdragon 778G in a more affordable package.
According to Ice Universe, Xiaomi will utilize the Snapdragon 778G ferociously across its lineup, equipping both mid-range and low-end devices with the 5G chip. The company is geared to unveil its second Snapdragon 778G-powered phone as soon as tomorrow, with the launch of the Xiaomi Civi in China.
While the source doesn't state what upcoming Xiaomi phones will get the Snapdragon 778G in particular, it can be expected to be seen on some Redmi devices. The Redmi Note 11 Pro, for example, would be a decent bet, with the 6nm Snapdragon 778G offering both better efficiency and performance than the 8nm Snapdragon 732G the Redmi Note 10 Pro is equipped with.
