Alongside the Civi, Xiaomi also launched a new product in China today, the Xiaomi Watch Color 2. The Watch Color 2 is said to offer "an exquisite appearance", "super third-party app support", and "long battery life".
The new Xiaomi Watch Color 2 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 60 Hz refresh rate. The display has a 326 ppi, which is the exact same as its close rival, the Amazfit GTR 2e. The Watch Color offers blood oxygen testing, 24-hour heart rate, and sleep monitoring.
Xiaomi will sell the Watch Color 2 with three color options for its frame, and six for the strap. There is support for third-party apps as well as for Bluetooth calls. Xiaomi has equipped the Watch Color 2 with a 470 mAh battery and promises 12 days of battery life under regular usage. That's 1 mAh less than the Amazfit GTR 2e.
Other features of the Xiaomi Watch Color 2 include 117 sports modes, dual-frequency GPS, and 5 ATM waterproofing. The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 bears a CNY 999 MSRP. That converts to US$155. Pre-orders begin today, while sales start on September 30.
