Xiaomi is tipped to launch two new devices soon. While the leak fails to specify which devices those are, the provided specs and feature hint heavily at devices based on the Xiaomi Civi that was launched a while ago in China.

Xiaomi recently released the Redmi Note 11 series in China. The company has no plans to rest on its laurels, however, as a new report indicates that Xiaomi is already working on two new mid-range devices.

As revealed by Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi has two new mid-range phones in the works. The devices will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G and are expected to feature batteries with capacities around 4500 mAh. In addition, the tipster touts a new design on a thin, light chassis, with the phone also expected to feature a high refresh rate OLED with an optical in-display fingerprint reader.

One could be forgiven for regarding those features as familiar. In fact, just last month, Xiaomi launched the Civi in China. The Xiaomi Civi features a 120 Hz OLED with an optical fingerprint reader, a Snapdragon 778G, a 4500 mAh battery, a thin chassis, and a new design. It looks likely that at least one of those phones will be based on the Civi, with Xiaomi being experts at rebadging phones under different sub-brands.

There is, of course, a chance that Xiaomi has two new devices that simply share plenty of similarities with the new Civi. We wouldn't bet on that, though.
