@xiaomiui has updated its list of Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices that it expects to receive Android 12. In August, the Twitter account stated that over 70 devices would receive the latest version of Android, which they have tweaked somewhat.
It is worth stressing that the list below is not official. Hence, Xiaomi may elect to keep some of these devices on Android 11, rather than upgrading them to Android 12. However, @xiaomiui claims to have based its list on Xiaomi's internal Android 12 testing plan.
According to @xiaomui, Xiaomi is already testing nearly two-dozen devices in closed Android 12 betas. By contrast, closer to three-dozen devices remain in internal beta testing, as @xiaomiui's table shows. Only the Mi 11 and Redmi K40 series have started receiving Android 12 so far.
Unsurprisingly, the Mi 9 series and Redmi K20 series have not made the cut, nor have the Redmi 9 series or older POCO smartphones. Presumably, the company will continue to release Android 12 to its newer flagships first, such as the Mi 11 series.
