Xiaomi 14 Pro likely to join Xiaomi 14 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 16 GB RAM in twin flagship launch
Earlier today, Xiaomi confirmed that it would soon unveil the Xiaomi 14 series, which it will present alongside the Watch S3 in China. For now, Xiaomi has not detailed how many Xiaomi 14 models it plans to release. However, a second unreleased Xiaomi handset has also surfaced on Geekbench, following the recent appearance of the standard Xiaomi 14.
As the screenshots below show, someone has got their hands on the Xiaomi 23116PN5BC. While Geekbench has not revealed the device's eventual marketing name, IMEI databases linked 23116PN5BC to the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Thus, it appears that Xiaomi will continue to use its autumn hardware events to kick off its next flagship series, with an 'Ultra' model likely arriving early next year.
Thus, the 23116PN5BC runs Android 14 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 16 GB of RAM. Based on recent releases, 16 GB of RAM may not be the default memory configuration for either the Xiaomi 14 or Xiaomi 14 Pro. Instead, the pair are likely to be available with a minimum of 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM plus 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. As for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm has strongly hinted that it will showcase the chipset on October 24 alongside the Snapdragon X series of high-performance laptop processors.
