Vivo Y200 debuts with solid features and attractive pricing
Vivo has expanded its mid-range product stack with the Y200, a smartphone that has debuted in India. According to the company's website, it has built the handset around a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 and a 4,800 mAh battery that supports 44 W wired charging. The Vivo Y200 also has comparatively thin bezels for its price point, which surround a 6.67-inch AMOLED display.
In that vein, the large panel outputs at 1080p and 120 Hz, within which Vivo hides a 16 MP front-facing camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, a 64 MP sensor with OIS serves as the device's primary camera, which Vivo complements with a 2 MP auxiliary sensor. Moreover, the handset has an LED flash and an 'Aura Light', with the latter included to illuminate portrait shots in low light conditions.
Separately, Vivo has pre-installed Android 13 overlaid with Funtouch OS 13 and has certified the device to IP54 levels of water and dust resistance. The Vivo Y200 starts at INR 21,999 (~US$266) with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Alternatively, the device is available with the same RAM but 256 GB of storage for INR 23,999 (~US$290).
