Vivo Watch 2: Samsung Galaxy Watch4 lookalike to launch with an eSIM and up to 7 days of battery life
Vivo has published more teasers for the Vivo Watch 2, its next smartwatch. Yesterday, the company confirmed when it would announce the Watch 2, upon which it has since expanded. For reference, the Watch 2 has an AMOLED display, mirroring its predecessor. Undoubtedly, the Vivo Watch 2 resembles the Galaxy Watch4.
As the official render above shows, the Watch 2 will launch with an eSIM. While it also appears to show the Vivo Watch 2 with a near bezel-less display, looking closely reveals otherwise. In fact, Vivo has applied eight layers of concentric circles from the display's outer edge, indicating that the Watch 2 has comparatively large bezels.
Additionally, the render implies that the Watch 2 has a built-in microphone, but we cannot see one on its frame. Also, the smartwatch should be capable of tracking your heart rate, calories burned and how many steps you have covered in a day. Vivo hints at the Watch 2 having a GPS module, too.
At any rate, the Watch 2 will deliver up to 7 days of battery life between charges. Vivo will announce the smartwatch on December 22 alongside the S12 series, including the S12 Pro.
