Apple has released HomePod 15.2, iOS 15.2, iPadOS 15.2 and watchOS 8.3. The four updates bring several new features to eligible devices, including the new Apple Music Voice subscription. There is no equivalent update for tvOS, though.

HomePod 15.2, iOS 15.2, iPadOS 15.2 and watchOS 8.3 can now all be downloaded on eligible devices. The four OS updates flank macOS 12.1 that Apple has also released, the first major update for macOS Monterey. All updates can be triggered by heading to the Settings menus of each OS. The exception is watchOS, where you must download updates through the Watch app on your iPhone.

In short, the new updates add the Apple Music Voice subscription, which Apple unveiled in October. The entry-level tier costs US$4.99 per month and restricts you to accessing the Apple Music catalogue via Siri. The Music Voice subscription does not support Lossless Audio, Lyrics, Music Videos or Spatial Audio, though.

The updates for iOS, iPadOS and watchOS enable an 'App Privacy Report' too. According to the changelogs below, the report allows you to determine the frequency with which apps have accessed information or features, such as your camera, contacts, location or microphone. The report spans seven days and includes network activity, should you wish to keep track of that.

Software version 15.2 includes support for Apple Music Voice Plan, a new subscription tier designed to access music using Siri, and extends Siri voice recognition to new languages. This update also includes performance and stability improvements.
