Valve receives three new massive Steam Frame shipments as it gears up for its launch

Valve has been steadily preparing for the launch of the Steam Frame behind the scenes, and recent shipping records continue to hint that things are moving forward. Just over a week ago, the company received a new shipment described as an "HMD + VR controller accessory." Now, it appears Valve has received another major batch of Steam Frame-related hardware.
As spotted by HardwareSteam on X, Valve received three separate shipments on July 15, with each one listed as containing Virtual Reality Devices. In other words, the shipments appear to be for the Steam Frame. They are also massive, as the three shipments combined weigh around 19,304 kg, or approximately 21.3 tons, making them one of the biggest shipments Valve has received so far for its upcoming headset.
Valve hasn't revealed the Steam Frame's official release date or price yet, but it has been quietly preparing for the launch in several other ways. Earlier this month, the company introduced the Great on Steam Frame category on Steam, making it easier for users to find games that are optimized for the upcoming headset. Since then, Valve has also started assigning Steam Frame compatibility ratings to games, with more titles joining the list every week. Based on everything that has been going on, we can expect an official announcement soon.
