Steam Frame launching anytime now, as more shipments reach Valve's US warehouses

We’ve seen reports of Steam Machine shipments reaching the US, and now shipments of the Steam Frame have reportedly arrived in the country as well. The information comes from the same leaker who has been monitoring these developments, once again hinting at an imminent launch.
Leaker Brad Lynch shared a screenshot of shipments of “Virtual Reality Devices” reportedly reaching Valve’s USA warehouses. They follow the same patterns as before and are dated June 10 for the “Virtual Reality Devices” and June 3 for the “Game Console.” This comes after Valve updated its release timeline for the Steam Machine and Steam Frame from ‘2026’ to ‘this summer.’
All signs point towards an imminent launch, with the latest speculation hinting at June 29. However, with the summer 2026 timeline, Valve has till August/September to release the new hardware. That said, it could be that Valve releases the Steam Frame earlier, by the end of this month, and then waits a bit more for the Steam Machine.
Pricing for the devices is still unclear, and that’s where Valve is having to think long and hard before making the call. Due to the current condition of the market, with prices for components skyrocketing, especially DRAM, Valve had to pivot from its original strategy. That's why the Steam Controller, a device that doesn’t require RAM, was released in due time at an acceptable price point.
