Umidigi is currently selling a trio of Android tablets, namely the G3 Tab, A11 Tab, and A13 Tab. However, none of these is a rugged device. The recently unveiled Active T1 will go on sale later this summer as the brand's first rugged tablet, sporting a build compliant with the MIL-STD-810G, IP68, and IP69K standards.
In addition to the rugged build, the upcoming Umidigi Active T1 slate will come with a stylus, also featuring support for operating the display with gloves on. Even more, it also comes with a keyboard mode for handling office work regardless of location.
While details regarding the processor model used are not available yet (for certain a MediaTek or Unisoc chip), Umidigi unveiled that this tablet will come with 8 Gb of memory, 128 GB internal storage space, support for microSD cards up to 1 TB, an 11-inch display with 2,000 X 1,200 pixels, as well as a 15,000 mAh battery with 20 W fast charging via USB-C and a POGO connector (charging dock included), as well as wireless charging.
More details regarding the pricing and availability of this rugged Android slate will become available in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
