OnePlus has hinted that additional new products may launch with the upcoming 8T flagship phone. Now, the tipster Ishan Agarwal claims to know what one of them will be: a power bank. However, fans hoping for up-to-date Warp Charge in such an accessory might be disappointed in this rumor.

OnePlus is scheduled to unveil its refreshed 8T premium smartphone in less than 2 days from now (on October 14, 2020). This mobile device may take its virtual stage alongside up to 5 additional members of this OEM's burgeoning ecosystem. According to Ishan Agarwal, one of them will be a fairly consistent tech crowd-pleaser: a power bank.

However, despite this company's reputation as a purveyor of advanced, proprietary and (most importantly) very fast charging tech, this putative accessory is not slated to match up to predecessors such as the OnePlus Warp Wireless Charger. Instead, it is tipped to exhibit a very standard 18 watts (W) of output.

Then again, Agarwal asserts that it will at least get a USB type C port, alongside 2 type A ports. It may come in black or a light green branded with the OnePlus logo and motto ("Never Settle"). Therefore, should this leak prove accurate, this new external battery may be intended to partner devices such as the Nord (or its apparent future budget devices, even).

As Agarwal projects the accessory will go for INR 1400 (~US$19) at the most, that is looking more and more like solid speculation by the second. Should this new OnePlus power bank really launch soon, it will be sold alongside the new Buds Z and maybe a smartwatch from the OEM.
