OnePlus will revitalise its sandstone finish on October 14 with the release of the OnePlus Nord Special Edition

OnePlus has confirmed that it has a special edition of the OnePlus Nord planned. The company has already released two colour variants of the OnePlus Nord, both with glossy finishes. However, OnePlus has hinted that the special edition will have a textured finish, possibly like the Sandstone Black version of the OnePlus One.

So far, OnePlus has hinted that the special edition will also have a sandstone finish. If it is anything like the Sandstone Black version of the OnePlus One, then it may look almost black in some lighting. It is unknown whether this model will differ from the regular OnePlus Nord in any other ways, nor in which markets OnePlus will sell the device. We doubt that it will be making its way to the US, though.

The OnePlus Nord Special Edition of the OnePlus Nord will arrive on October 14, the same day that the company launches the OnePlus 8T. The company is also expected to announce Buds Z this week, its budget-alternatives to the TWS earbuds that it announced earlier this year. No OnePlus 8T Pro will be in attendance though as OnePlus has decided against bringing one to market.
