The AYA NEO smashes crowdfunding expectations with over US$1,000,000 raised in under 24 hours
The AYA NEO's crowdfunding finally started on Friday, having been delayed from its original February launch window. To recap, the AYA NEO has an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U APU, a 7-inch display and 16 GB of LPDDR4X RAM running at 4,266 MHz. Additionally, the device has a 12,300 mAh battery capacity split across three cells and is available with either 512 GB or 1 TB of M.2 2280 NVMe storage.
That combination has proven immensely popular so far, as the AYA NEO generated over US$1,000,000 in funding received within its first 24 hours on Indiegogo. As it stands, AYA has sold out of its Super Early Bird and its configuration with a 500 GB SSD, leaving just the 1 TB option or the Ultimate Package left.
However, AYA is considering adding additional perks as it running low on its 1 TB configuration too. The company has not stated what new perks it is mulling over, but we would expect it to make another announcement within the next few days. Currently, AYA expects to begin shipping the AYA NEO to backers in May 2021.
