A leaker claims to have found evidence of two new model numbers from OnePlus, that might thus hint at further launch events in the near future. It is possible that one of the devices in question may be planned for 2022, although one might show up sooner. Nevertheless, a reliable source persists in their assertion that it will not be a successor to 2020's 8T.

0The leaker TechDroider claims to have found not 1 but 2 completely new OnePlus model numbers online. Furthermore, the tipster claims that one could easily be an upcoming flagship, although the identity of the second is less clear at this point.

The former is NE2210, which, according to TechDroider, is destined for a launch in 2022 and is a Chinese-market unit (thanks to the "10" designation). Accordingly, this number could well correspond to the rumored OnePlus 10 or even 10 Pro.

TechDroider claims to have found this intriguing new term on India's CEIR IMEI database, although it is less clear where the second came from. Based on the aforementioned model number-decoding rationale, this MT2110 is also a Chinese variant, albeit one that might launch much sooner.

Despite this possible new evidence that OnePlus might hold another product event before the end of 2021 (a year already relatively jam-packed with those for multiple Nord variants), a second eminent leaker continues to assert that it is not to be the 9T as might be expected.

While Max Jambor purports to validate TechDroider's findings that the MT2110 exists and is on the way, he also reiterated an earlier claim that there is to be no direct upgrade for the 8T (also known as the KB20xx).

In fact, Jambor has dropped a more novel hint in relation to this device, which is that it might have a James Bond theme. Therefore, it could either be a new OnePlus 9-series variant with a vague chance of starring in an upcoming movie from the long-lasting franchise - or, more plausibly, has acquired the code-name martini instead.

The OnePlus 9 Pro (or LE2123) is on Amazon now
