The Nord N200 is one of the cheapest 5G phones sold by OnePlus in the United States. Accordingly, it is made of lower-end materials compared to the flagship of its series. However, it seems this does not necessarily mean the device will do worse in a famous online bend-test.

OnePlus has furthered its ambitions in the US market with the Nord N100 and N200, the latter of which offers 5G and a 90Hz display at just under $240 in that country. This price, as the well-known YouTuber Zach Nelson pointed out while subjecting it to his JerryRigEverything tests, implies some compromises.

This includes the omission of the OEM's Alert Slider, as well as a plastic frame and rear panel ideal for an almost obligatory razor-blade customization scene. Accordingly, one might expect it to meet a fate no better than that of the original Nord in this series of vlogs, which was to end up with an unusable screen as a result of the hallmark bend-test stage.

Conversely, the N200 managed to stay on instead - however, something inside the phone was heard to snap while Nelson was trying to crack it in half. Therefore, whether the unit will be able to stay that functional or not, and what broke during its durability test, remains to be seen in its forthcoming JerryRigEverything teardown.
