The Fitbit Sense has been on the market for almost a year, so it is conceivable that Fitbit will soon replace the smartwatch with a successor. Presumably, Fitbit's next smartwatch will run Wear OS too, rather than the company's proprietary alternative. In the meantime, Fitbit has released the Sense in a new colour, which it has called Silver Stainless Steel.
The new colour option also comes with a silicone watch band that Fitbit markets as Sage Grey. The new colourway comes in at US$299.95, the same price as the Soft Gold and Graphic Stainless Steel versions. The Silver Stainless Steel edition is available to order now in multiple markets, including the US.
The Sage Grey watch band is available separately too for US$29.95. Fitbit has also announced two silicone sports bands, blush/desert bloom and frost white/lunar white, that retail for US$34.95. Additionally, charcoal and coastal blue hook & loop bands will be available for the same price, too. By contrast, Fitbit's vegan leather bands, sand dollar and seaglass, will cost US$49.95, with its leather scrunchy options coming in at US$54.95. These new bands will be orderable from August 25.
