Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Fold7 in Q3 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7 and a Fan Edition foldable. Details of the two main foldables have slowly leaked over the past few months, and the latest seems to confirm that the Galaxy Z Fold7 is finally on course for a camera upgrade.
Early leaks of the Galaxy Z Fold7 claimed it would arrive with the same 50 MP main camera as previous entries in the series going back to the Galaxy Z Fold4. That's unlikely to be the case, though, with a new report seemingly confirming rumors that the Galaxy Z Fold7 will come equipped with a 200 MP main camera instead.
As revealed by GalaxyClub, the upcoming foldable is set to adopt the same 200 MP sensor Samsung has used on devices like the Galaxy S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra. The company already used that sensor on the Korea-exclusive Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition last year, so this was likely always on the cards. In addition to the 200 MP main camera, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will apparently get a new under-display selfie camera. Unfortunately, it appears both the telephoto and ultra-wide-angle snappers remain unchanged.
