The launches of the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 remain a few months away. By all accounts, Samsung will replace the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $999.99 - refurbished on Amazon) this summer before releasing the Galaxy G Fold and Galaxy Z Flip FE in the autumn.
Nonetheless, information about new Galaxy Z devices continues to emerge online. This time, what appears to be charging speeds relating to the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 have popped up on the 3C in China. On the face of it, the image below does not provide information about either device's charging speeds. However, Samsung's decision to submit the SM-F966 and SM-F766 for regulatory approval with its ageing EP-TA800 power supply is a nod to their capabilities in this regard.
According to the 3C, both devices can charge at up to 9V/2.77 A, which converts to 25 W. In other words, the Galaxy Z Fold has missed out on a charging upgrade again, contrary to rumours that surfaced earlier this year. The Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to launch with an unchanged 4,400 mAh battery capacity too, although it should be joined by a Galaxy Z Flip with a 4.35% larger combined capacity than the outgoing Galaxy Z Flip6.
