The UHPILCL T1000 is a new mobile system that will soon kick off its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. It's not what someone would call a laptop, it's more of an uncompromising desktop replacement. The computer comes with a display and keyboard, but there's no built-in battery. This might be useful on long trips where lots of processing power is needed, and where weight is not a concern.
The UHPILCL is listed in two different configurations. The T1000 Super variant is about 0.27 inches taller than the regular model, while the footprint remains identical at roughly 16.5 x 13.4 inches. The weight ranges between 10.6 and 11.5lbs. The Super version is designed to accommodate powerful components like an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 and AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, as it features a more capable water-cooling system. The power supply can deliver a combined 735 watts to the GPU and CPU. Both desktop graphics cards and processors can be installed.
Moreover, the T1000 sports a 17.3-inch display with 3K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and full DCI-P3 color space coverage. There’s space for two M.2 SSDs, along with what appear to be two SATA connectors. The aforementioned keyboard has an RGB backlight, while WiFi 7 and 2.5GbE are available in terms of network connectivity. An exact price has not been announced, but the unconventional computer certainly won’t be cheap or affordable. That said, the PC will apparently be offered with different motherboards for compatibility with both AMD and Intel chipsets.
