Reviews for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro T545
The 10.1-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is protected against dust and water to a large degree and even has an exchangeable battery, which ensures a very long battery life. On top of that, you get a surprisingly wide range of features for a rugged tablet, including the Samsung S pen, NFC, a fingerprint reader and a good 13-MP camera.

The Galaxy Tab Active Pro hits its targets well. Businesses in the market for a rough-and-tumble tablet with enough performance to get the job done, optional 4G LTE connectivity, and a body that takes a licking don't have a lot of options. Fortunately for them, however, Samsung's rugged tablet ticks off those boxes and do so with some flair.

Samsung developed the Galaxy Tab Active Pro mainly for use in rough conditions. The IP68 certification for the tablet just reinforces its resistance to dust and water. The device is made even more robust with the protective cover that comes with it. This creates an additional protective frame around the case and can also hold the S pen included with the Galaxy Tab Active Pro. Apart from that, the protective cover has the ability to protect the tablet even when being dropped from up to 1.2 meters. This makes the NFC-supporting Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro suitable for all situations and circumstances that would prove to be too much for most tablets. The S pen, on the other hand, provides an additional input option. The digital pen has a fine tip of 0.7 mm and works with 4,096 pressure points, which makes it suitable for more than just opening apps and menus. The S pen can be used for digital signatures, image processing and also for creating sketches, depending on the user’s need.
The 10.1-inch device has been equipped with an IPS display along with a 1920 x 1200pixel resolution. The WUXGA display on the device responds quickly and precisely, it recognizes inputs reliably, even if the user is wearing gloves. The brightness level of the tablet provides sufficient luminosity for it to be used outdoors. As far as its performance is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro comes with the octa-core SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 670, while the GPU is the Qualcomm Adreno 616 along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The tablet displays current games fairly smoothly and underscores them with surround sound. In terms of battery, this tablet carries a 7,900mAh battery and was found to utilize only 5.91W under load, which makes it a particularly energy-efficient tablet. Apart from that, the tablet also has an exchangeable 7,600mAh battery.
While users normally do not expect as much from tablet cameras as they would from smartphones, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro might just set them up for a surprise with its camera image quality. The tablet contains a 13-megapixel main camera with flash and autofocus, and an 8-megapixel front camera. In good lighting, the tablet manages to deliver good quality, vibrant-looking images with accurate colours and high details. As for the connectivity, the device has been equipped with a fingerprint sensor, face recognition, stereo speakers and also a 3.5mm audio jack. In addition, there is a USB Type-C port that transmits data at USB-3.1 Gen-1 speeds and also supports Samsung DeX. The port can furthermore be used to transmit content to another screen with the help of an HDMI adapter. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro might not win people’s heart with its thick, robust case, but it does flourish with its performance in challenging conditions where most other tablets would give in. Therefore, the choice of owning is definitely based on individual preference and choice.

This is a standard display format for tablet computers or small convertibles. You see more on the screen than on a smartphone but you can't use big resolutions well. On the other hand, mobility is not a problem.

71.97%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
