According to previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 generation is not exactly bursting with many new hardware features, but there are likely to be one or two innovations that are not yet widely known. Busy Chinese leaker Ice Universe has just revealed one of these. If his information proves correct (see X post below), Samsung will install an exclusive new Gorilla Glass version in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This sounds quite plausible, as Samsung has often utilized the latest glass from Corning in the past.

Gorilla Glas Armor 2 even more "powerful"
In recent years, each successive Gorilla Glass version has primarily offered greater scratch and impact resistance. Gorilla Glass Armor took things a big step further by introducing another feature virtually overnight, namely a highly anti-reflective protective layer, which raised the bar for other smartphones. Recently, however, potential problems with the protective layer on the Galaxy S24 Ultra have come to light, which may be a starting point for improvements to the successor.
According to Ice Universe, the second generation of Gorilla Glass Armor - possibly named Gorilla Glass Armor 2 - will be "even more powerful" and once again have anti-reflective properties. However, it is not yet known in detail what the specific improvements will be. In any case, the post indicates a feature exclusive only to the Galaxy S25 Ultra and not available to competitors for the time being.
