Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra receive new camera features and improvements in Europe with new update

This week has been a busy one for Samsung when it comes to mobile software updates. Yesterday, the company confirmed that nine devices would start receiving One UI 6.1, the launch software for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. $1,299.99 on Amazon). Covered separately, the list of devices includes the Galaxy S23 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 series, although the former will miss out on Instant Slow-Mo support for some reason.

Now, the company has released S92xBXXU1AXB5 to its Galaxy S24 trio in Europe. For context, the update first arrived in South Korea earlier this month. Surprisingly, S92xBXXU1AXB5 is approximately a 35% larger download in Europe than it is in South Korea, with 746 MB for the former and 554 MB for the latter. Nonetheless, Samsung has decided against providing a detailed changelog in either case.

Instead, it only claims to have improved 'overall stability' and the 'security of your device'. For reference, the latter relates to the February 2024 security patch, full changes for which you can find in Google's latest Android Security Bulletin. While Samsung remains on the actual improvements contained within S92xBXXU1AXB5, a Samsung moderator highlighted that the update features numerous camera refinements, albeit many are Galaxy S24 Ultra exclusives.
